This time of year can be stressful because you’re just coming off the excitement from the holidays, and you have to find a way to plan an extravagant date for Valentine’s Day. Our team here at Beaverton Car Company wants to help you plan your date, so we’ve put together a list of our top three favorite romantic restaurants near Beaverton. Be sure to stay tuned to our blog throughout the year for updates and information on local activities and events.
Mucca Osteria
1022 SW Morrison Street in Portland
If you’re trying to eat healthier, it can be difficult to find a restaurant that follows those same values. Mucca Osteria is the exception to the rule. It’s an Italian restaurant that offers organic options and handmade pasta with an extensive wine list to pair your meal with. Although the website is not up-to-date, there was a Valentine’s Day event last year, so we’re assuming there’s one this year as well. Last year, customers were able to choose one dish from each course including dessert. Guests will see the attention to detail and care with each new dish. Reservations can be made on their website.
Stockpot Restaurant
8200 SW Scholls Ferry Road in Beaverton
Those looking for more of a traditional American menu are sure to appreciate the Stockpot Restaurant right here in Beaverton. They’re open from 11:30 a.m. to midnight on Tuesdays, so you can head in with your date for lunch or dinner. The prices are affordable, and the atmosphere is modern and cozy; it makes for the perfect date spot. If you’re looking for something even more laid back, there is a lounge area with a specific lounge menu offering even more affordable, fun food options to choose from. Reservations can be made on their website.
MiNGO
12600 Crescent Street in Beaverton
Another hometown favorite is Mingo – an Italian restaurant with a modern, Northwest twist. They’re open on Tuesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., so feel free to stop in for lunch or dinner. One reason we chose MiNGO is for the ever-changing menu. They use fresh produce from organic farmers, so the menu is different every six to eight weeks. Unfortunately their website hasn’t been updated with a new menu since Fall 2016, but we know it’s safe to say that there will be plenty of options to choose from. This place has more of a laid back vibe with roll-up garage doors, a patio and a bar. More information is available on their site.
