Vehicle Exports

Beaverton Car Company does not export vehicles outside of the United States. The buyer is responsible for all export costs and customs. Transportation can be arranged to the port of export when the vehicle is paid in full.

 

DMV

Our staff is trained in DMV rules to assist in the transaction, but you need to understand your state requirements. The buyer is responsible for any necessary smog certification or emission testing. We provide temporary permits allowing you to drive your purchased vehicle while you finalize the registration.

 

Taxes

Oregon does not have a Sales Tax on Motor Vehicles. However, Sales tax is calculated based on where you register the car, not where you buy it. We will collect the estimated sales tax and provide you with instructions to help with the next steps when registering your car.
